Hi, I’m Kushagr

I’m a 17-year-old filmmaker, cinematographer, and video editor based in Bangalore, India, currently balancing school with shoots, edits, and late-night render sessions. I’ve learned filmmaking by running around with a camera, figuring things out on set, and teaching myself through countless hours of YouTube and trial-and-error.

Over the past two years, I’ve shot music videos with rappers in Bangalore, handled cinematography for companies like XO Curls, and taken on projects ranging from reels to short films. I work mainly in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with experience in Final Cut Pro X and DaVinci Resolve for colour grading.

 

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create work that feels fresh, polished, and true to the story being told.

Inventure Production

In 2024, I served as the first-ever student assistant director for Inventure Academy’s annual theatre production, one of the most significant projects I’ve worked on.

This large-scale production involved a cast and crew of over 600 students. I collaborated closely with the director, overseeing rehearsals, managing schedules, coordinating scene transitions, and ensuring smooth backstage operations during performances. The experience challenged me to think on my feet, lead under pressure, and balance creative vision with logistical execution.
Being entrusted with this role provided invaluable real-world experience in leadership, problem-solving, and creative collaboration — lessons I carry with me into every project I take on.
